Megalithic burial monuments of granite slab cists, granite dolmenoied cist and Urn burials (1000 B.C- 300 A.D)
- About 25 megalithic sites with about 303 burial monuments of granite slab cists, granite dolmenoied cist and Urn burials (1000 BC-300 AD) have been discovered by Sanalkumar.
- The identification of a large number of megaliths on the top and foothill areas along the Gayathripuzha valley proves that the dry land and paddy field areas might have the megalithic habitation zone.
