Neolithic Cupsules and Post holes Post Sites on granite flat surface and rock shelter ( 4000 B.C- 1000 B.C)
The Neolithic archaeological discovery of Sanalkumar consists of cupsules sites on Natural Rock shelters and Caves from Palakkad and Ernakulam districts. Sanalkumar has also discovered Neolithic post hole sites numbering about twenty three found on the granite plateaus in Circular, Square, Rectangular and Linier Patterns. The post holes is also associated with rock engravings and microlithic artifacts. The other socket site discovered by Sanalkumar found on the Manjikkan Kotta natural rock shelter at the mountain valley were the first identified Neolithic habitation site in Kerala.
